The Centre of Excellence for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (CoE DSAI), a collaborative initiative between NASSCOM and the Government of Karnataka, was established to nurture the ecosystem for artificial intelligence (AI) and data science. By engaging stakeholders from government, industry, start-ups, and academia, it aims to accelerate innovation in India, adapt technology for societal benefit, and nurture talent in AI and data science.
The initiative aimed to increase recognition of its mission among key stakeholders, including government, industry, start-ups, and academia. It focused on onboarding industries and start-ups to co-create solutions for societal challenges while designing events and initiatives to foster collaboration. Additionally, it emphasized educating academia on AI and data science to address real-world problems. Establishing a cohesive brand identity aligned with the mission of “AI for Good” and executing effective marketing and outreach campaigns were critical to engaging stakeholders and amplifying the initiative’s impact.
Our collaboration addressed challenges in engagement, brand identity, and program management. By designing a cohesive visual identity, developing a user-friendly website, enhancing brand communication, and organizing impactful events like Xperience AI – Retail and Xperience AI – Innovators Showcase, we enhanced awareness and participation across stakeholders. These efforts positioned the initiative as a key player in advancing AI and data science innovation in India.
